FIRST FRIDAY FEBRUARY 5th FOOD TRUCKS, MUSIC ON MONTROSE
This Friday, February 5th, 2016 is Family Food Truck Night in Historic Downtown Clermont. Twelve gourmet food trucks begin serving as early as 5:30pm and continue until 9:00pm at City Hall Park, 7th and W. Montrose Street. Music On Montrose, the free monthly concert series, features CRENSHAW, a husband-wife duo that is back after their First Friday debut in April 2015. Music is from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The public is invited to attend. There is no admission and parking is free. Delicioius entrees and desserts vary in price with something to fit everyones’ budget. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
First Friday is a family-friendly, outdoor event. It is open to all residents of the Greater Clermont Area as well as to visitors from all points. The Clermont Downtown Partnership Inc (CDP) hosts this, and many other events held Downtown, to promote economic development and pride in our hometown. The Music On Montrose band is sponsored by REMAX The GCI Guys who set up a booth at City Hall Park where a professional caricature artist creates free illustrations during the event. Most of the CDP members are located in the historic business district of Clermont and many are “ALIVE AFTER 5!” every Friday night, including during First Fridays. Additionally vendors with arts, crafts amd jewelry and other curiosities, goods and services, will line Montrose Street to introduce event visitors to goods and services that can be found in the Greater Clermont area. A limited amount of vendor space may be available and other sponsorships are available to help support and grow this 4-year old event. CLASS ACT JAZZ BAND AT MUSIC ON MONTROSE
GREEN SWAMP ENCORE AT MUSIC ON MONTROSE, FIRST FRIDAY FOOD TRUCKS
Clermont, FL – The Green Swamp Band will present an encore Music On Montrose performance during First Friday Family Food Trucks September 4th, 2015 at City Hall Park in Historic Downtown Clermont. The popular group features lead singer Mike White, rhythm guitarist Rick Wilde, Frank Anastasia on lead guitar and Richard Tilly on drums. Green Swamp plays originals, country and rock. Music begins at 6:00pm and ends at 9:00pm. Green Swamp’s performance at July’s First Friday was cut short by inclement weather. Music On Montrose is a free family-friendly event and is hosted by the Clermont Downtown Partnership (CDP).

Guests will enjoy delicious entreés and desserts, available at a variety of prices, from Melissa’s Chicken & Waffles, Saigon Sizzle, Sweet City Gelato, The Big Hot Box, Cupkay’s Cakery, Kona Dog, Cousin’s Maine Lobster, The Pastrami Project, TJ’s Seafood Shack, Treehouse Truck, Dixieland Diner and The Big Cheese.

The City of Clermont allows adults to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages from licensed providers such as Bacchus Vino and Vineyards of the World as well as other Downtown eateries that serve beer and wine. Alcohol is not available from food trucks or vendors participating in CDP events

“IRISH JOE REILLY” – Featured at Music on Montrose August 7, 2015
Joe Foryan “Irish Joe Reilly” is a singer/guitarist who performs a variety of music, including Irish, oldies, folk and country songs.
In the past years Joe has been in Irish bands, Blue Grass and Oldies Bands that played music from 1950’s to the 80’s.
Joe now performs on stage at Art Festivals and Fairs, Irish Pubs, Country Clubs and private parties.
Joe is actively involved in his church as a Music Minister, and in the past has participated in church music groups and directed the folk choir.
Joe’s musical talents, include playing the Guitar, Banjo and Double Bass.
His song selections stay popular through the years.
Joe lives in Clermont Florida with his wife Nancy.
First Friday June 5th Features 11 Food Trucks, Live Music
Clermont, FL – Steve Kaplan & Co., a popular local acoustic group, will perform this Friday, June 5th, at First Friday Family Food Truck and Music on Montrose at City Hall Park in Historic Downtown Clermont. Eleven gourmet Food Trucks begin serving at 5:30pm. Music begins at 6:00pm. The event runs to 9:00pm.
Chef-inspired Food Trucks attending include: 900 Degreez Pizza, Caekteer, Holy Cow Burger Co., Hula Dog, Louie’s Bistro, Melissa’s Chicken and Waffles, Olé Ailoi, Saigon Sizzle, Sweet City Gelato, The Big Hot Box and Willy T’s Crab Shack. Additionally, vendors will display their wares under the lights from 7th to 8th on West Montrose. Downtown shops will be “Alive After 5!” and offering door prizes and drawings for $50.00 in Market Bucks. A few vendor spots on Montrose remain available.
The City of Clermont allows the event to be designated as an “Adult Beverage” zone where alcoholic beverages may be purchased by adults from local providers and consumed within the events barricaded area.
