A popular creative work area for youngsters is the KidsZone Interactive Art area which is set up in City Hall Park adjacent to City Hall at 7th and Montrose. This sponsored attraction will host art teachers from area public schools who are provided funds to purchase materials for kids to create their own art. These dedicated art teachers volunteer their time to be involved with the youngsters in our community — and have done so every year for many, many years. THANK YOU TEACHERS!
There is no charge for children to participate and all supplies are furnished. Look for the big tents at City Hall Park next to City Hall. There’s plenty of room for everyone!
Artwork from area schools will also be displayed under the tents. Please ask your school’s art teacher – public schools, private schools, church schools, home schools – about having work displayed. We want to encourage young artists and to recognize their talent and passion for art!
Thank you, again, to the art teachers from these public, private and church schools, as well as home school teachers who have volunteered their time and creative talents.
The Crossings Church is supplying the large tent for the Kid’s Art Zone.
