The Clermont Downtown Partnership is committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and guests to our area.  Producing quality events such as the Downtown Clermont Art Festival (the first weekend in November every year) and other free Arts events is a wonderful way for us to say, ‘Welcome to Historic Downtownt Clermont’, and ‘Thank You for being part of the evolution of Downtown Clermont!’.

Friday evening, November 3, First Friday Family Food Trucks (thirteen in all) will be serving gourmet dishes from 5:30 to 9PM adjacent to City Hall Park where The Class Act Jazz Band will perform from 6 to 9PM at the monthly free concert series Music On Montrose.

Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest! Saturday, 9am-12noon. This community-wide family-friendly event is free to participants. Its goal is to inspire youngsters to celebrate their creativity through positive self-expression. The Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest begins at 9:00 AM Saturday and closes shortly after 12 noon. There is no fee for aspiring artists to participate. Sponsors provide 18” x 24” art paper, chalk, kneeling pads and a bottle of water, while supplies last. The competition is divided into four age categories: 6-10; 11-14; 15-18, and 19-Adults. Cash prizes and award ribbons will given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age categories just before 2 PM at the Clermont City Hall Park Main Stage. The materials and registration table will be on the sidewalk in front of City Hall on Montrose Street. Painting with a Twist is the sponsor of this contest.

RED CARPET ZONE – SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. The RED CARPET ZONE is the main show – the focus of “CHAMPIONS FOR THE ARTS!” This area features only Fine Artists competing for cash awards and recognition ribbons, is from 7th to 8th Streets. The RED CARPET ZONE is sponsored by Mark’s Flooring.

Vendors and Crafters and Folk Art: This area will fill 8th Street from Montrose to Minneola Avenue. Artisans here will display and sell their work. They will not be competing for cash awards nor recognition ribbons. Please note that all exhibitors are required to submit digital images of their work for acceptance to DCAF2017.

SPONSORS ZONE, FOOD VENDORS, STREET MUSICIANS: Sponsors exhibits will be near City Hall Park while food trucks and food vendors will be placed throughout the festival as will Musicians who will perform throughout both days.

Farmer’s Market: The popular Sunday Downtown Farmer’s Market will shift toward Lake Avenue on Montrose Street.

is reserved for the Fine Art show. Visitors will find 50-plus vendors with items such as fresh produce, jams, honey, Cottage Industry edibles, olive salad, eggs, fresh baked breads, and so much more! Hours for the Market will be from 9AM – 4PM to coincide with the Art Festival.
